1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing HomeSafe GV to provide safety and compliance services for your property or properties.

These Terms of Service govern our provision of safety and compliance services, including but not limited to smoke alarm, gas, electrical, and related compliance services (Services).

By engaging HomeSafe GV, instructing us to perform Services, or allowing Services to be carried out at your property, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms apply to property owners and agents acting on behalf of property owners.

2. Definitions

In these Terms:

Agent means your appointed property manager.

Enrolled Property means a property enrolled to receive Services from HomeSafe GV.

Excluded Property means a property that is not eligible for Services due to access, compliance, non-payment, termination, or other reasons outlined in these Terms.

Fees means the charges applicable to the Services.

Services means the safety and compliance services provided by HomeSafe GV.

You means the property owner or an agent acting on behalf of the owner.

3. Services

Subject to these Terms, HomeSafe GV will provide the agreed Services to Enrolled Properties for the duration of the service term.

Not all Services are available in all locations. Services are provided in accordance with applicable Australian laws and regulations.

4. Fees and Payment

• Fees are communicated at the time of enrolment or booking.

• You authorise your Agent to pay Fees on your behalf where applicable.

• Invoices must be paid within 30 days unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• HomeSafe GV may adjust Fees with prior notice.

5. Suspension and Termination

5.1 Termination by You

You may terminate Services at any time by providing at least 7 days’ written notice.

5.2 Suspension or Termination by HomeSafe GV

We may suspend or terminate Services if:

• Fees remain unpaid

• These Terms are breached

• Access to the property is not provided

• Safety risks prevent service delivery

• Required compliance actions are not undertaken

Following termination, the property becomes an Excluded Property and HomeSafe GV accepts no responsibility for ongoing compliance obligations.

6. Cancellations

Cancellations must be provided in writing to [email protected]

Where Services have already been completed, applicable Fees remain payable.

7. Liability and Consumer Guarantees

HomeSafe GV provides Services with due care and skill in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss

• Our liability is limited to Services you have validly enrolled in

• We are not responsible for issues outside the scope of the Services

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

8. Disclaimers

• Services are point-in-time inspections and assessments only.

• Reports reflect conditions at the time of inspection.

• We do not guarantee future compliance or prevent future failures.

• Services do not include invasive inspections or dismantling of property elements.

• We are not responsible for advice or work performed by third parties.

9. Access and Safety

You are responsible for ensuring:

• Safe and reasonable access to the property

• Disclosure of hazards, pets, or risks

• Accurate information provided prior to service

Failure to do so may result in suspension, exclusion, or additional charges.

10. Additional Services and Quotations

Additional works outside standard Services may be offered by quotation.

Where accepted, quoted works form part of these Terms.

11. Privacy

We collect and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By agreeing to these Terms, you also consent to our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

HomeSafe GV may update these Terms from time to time.

The current version will be published on our website. Continued use of Services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Australian state or territory in which the property is located.
